A Longing Fulfilled -- Spotlight with giveaway

Kelly Anne Liberto • Jan 11, 2024

Help me welcome guest author Kelly Anne Liberto as she shares how a longing was fulfilled through her recent release.

Who doesn’t enjoy a great suspense novel?

It’s been one year since my Romantic Suspense book, Stealth, has been published! And to celebrate this book birthday, we’d love to give away a wraparound cover paperback copy for someone who comments on this blogpost. Tell me about your favorite romantic suspense novel.

Some fun facts about this book~

1.    The main characters Macy and P.I. Mike Gold are connected through Macy’s police officer husband, Chad, who was killed on the job.

2.    Macy shares a secret with two of her friends which helps motivate her to stop the new businessman in town from exploiting young women.

3.    The setting for Stealth is based in Southeastern Pa. where anything can happen on a secluded mountain trail on a beautiful autumn day.

4.    One of my favorite parts of this story happens at the end where a character told me a plot twist!

5.    While it was fun writing Macy and Mike’s story, I also enjoyed adding a theme of justice we sometimes see for the evil in this world.

6.    It took me ten years from start to finish to see this book published. So, you know I’m enjoying seeing the fruit of this labor of love. If you read it, will you consider emailing me at kellyliberto@gmail.com to tell me what you think?

If you have a book in you, or are working toward seeing a dream come true, my advice is don’t quit. Don’t let opposition, self-doubt, or anything else get in your way before seeing your longing fulfilled.

Proverbs 13:12 Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life. (NIV)

First Page of Stealth

CHAPTER ONE

Macy Freedman squinted at the morning sun, the lighting now perfect for photographing the Blue Mountain fall scenery.

If she crossed the steel barrier blocking off the mountain trail, who would it hurt? She’d score some amazing, colorful images even if the mission killed her.

The cobalt sky provided a perfect backdrop for the explosion of red, gold, and orange leaves the wind- whipped tree limbs painted in the canopy overhead.

Her Canon in position, Macy stopped to breathe. A gust of wind blew in pine scent, only to snatch it away and replace it with a mixture of earth and dead leaves. If she could take pictures of Pennsylvania’s beauty and sell the prints online, she could provide a better life for herself and her baby girl, Bella. Macy needed to find a way to make it on her own. She certainly couldn’t rely on any human being—or even God—to help. He’d certainly let her down in the past.

She clicked to shoot.
